Yoga tonight. Mixed gender. Shirtless men cool.

Okay. Those are not *my* words, promise. But my friend and former yoga instructor, Matt, is in town tonight from Hawaii and I’m going to his class. He has a big male following, and used to teach naked yoga. So he needs to get into specifics in terms of attire. 🙂

I will not be going shirtless, of course …

The exclamation point disappeared. I know, it’s difficult to think about how that can happen. I mean, how does a punctuation mark just .. disappear? But it happened. Maybe it will reappear. And if it doesn’t, then that is OK, too … b/c then that just means the punctuation mark wasn’t meant to be in my life.

Saw Joshua Radin last night at Neumo’s. A fabulous show. Sleepy before he got on stage. I was actually bored by the Watson Twins, who I previously really enjoyed (with Jenny Lewis, opening for Death Cab and at Bumbershoot, just them).

Josh was great – such an amazing guitar player and as headliner, he really let loose with his playing and singing in a way he hadn’t previously when I saw him. He was here about a year ago, opening for Missy Higgins. Last night’s show was different. He is adorable, of course, but I just love his wit and the stories behind all the songs. Some people hate that, but I actually hate it if the musician doesn’t share some things during the show.

Looked up chords for some of his songs today but don’t know about adding them to my burgeoning repertoire. Beats are a little different than standard playing and a bit more complicated. But something to aspire to, for sure.
